Commissioned Photomanipulation/Digital Illustration: The Clubs - 12in. Vinyl Cover
I've done album art for plenty of CDs and digital packages, but Vinyl! I never thought I'd get to do a Vinyl, at least not without a time machine. . .
Vinyls are making a comeback in a big way! My Thanks to Ian Kirkman for hiring me to do this, and my thanks to Ben Golder Novick for suggesting me!

It was allot of fun creating this totally nonsensical odd world cityscape.
The future/past one track subway stop lined with store fronts was probably most inspired from Dystopian Future style fantasy/drama narrative films such as:
City of lost children, Delicatessen, Dark City. . . etc. Although all of the elements in this piece are taken from local Brooklyn locations,
this certainly isn't a literal portrait of the Brooklyn I live in.

All element Photography by Jayel Draco
I went all around brooklyn grabbing photos to create this scene.
In total I used 144 reference shots. Even still allot of the elements in this image are 100% digital paint.
The final compostition (at 35.42" x 23.293", 300 dpi, 97 layers) came out to be a 452meg .psd. . . Yikes

As always, your questions comments and critiques are greatly appreciated,
but PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL or The Clubs will show you why they're holding those particular implements.
