Description

When viewing feral creatures, do not consider their beauty to be a sign of your safety.
Is the big cat not a gorgeous sight even as it prepares to dash on it's prey?
They stalk with smiling eyes because to them their next meal is a source of joy.
If you could convince them that you are neither prey nor a threat and that
you belong there with them in their wilds, you would have a story like no other.

_____ABOUT__________________________________________________________________________________

My second collaboration with David from Model Mayhem (PDMedia Photography MM#1390552)
He photographed the model, I created the costume, character & background embellishments in photoshop.
Aside from the model, this image was created using photos that I had taken as well as digital paint.

___TIP______________________________________________________________________________________

Problem: Nothing throws off a manipulation like light source discrepancies.

Solution: Aside from your primary image, make sure the rest of your stock photos either have a matching light source or are evenly lit so you can paint in light and shadow.

Example: In this piece, my character is the primary image. She has very specific light patterns coming from a single direction, which is the sun in this case (aside from some bounce light). She also has very specific shadow patterns from the foliage of the canopy. The stock images that I used for her outfit are from a very evenly lit photo of Fuschia flower. The Red Moss ground was evenly light as well. On separate layers I painted in highlights from where the sun would be hitting using the lighting on the model as reference.

I hope this helps you on your creative journey.
